One of our premier 250 E Ponce tenants, CenExel iResearch Atlanta, embraced the spirit of [self] love this Valentine’s Day by hosting an event celebrating the most important relationship of all – the one we have with ourselves.

Much akin to their mission of conducting groundbreaking research that will lead to cutting edge mental health treatment, CenExel iResearch Atlanta took the opportunity to share a message of self-love with community members by providing some self-care staples, like eye and lip masks, as well as some helpful mental health information.

Attendees were invited to grab face and lip masks, heart-shaped glasses, coffee, Valentine's themed doughnuts, cookies, and other treats while learning about the work their neighbors do.

Representing the company were employees Bonnie Flood, Community Partnerships Manager, and Elin Kemper, Office Manager, there to provide additional insight into the incredible work being conducted by CenExel iResearch Atlanta. They went into explicit detail about the 70+ clinical research studies they are working on, and told the community how they can get involved, which can be done through patient participation, volunteering, or employment/internship opportunities.

With more than 70 studies happening at any given time, ranging from mental health disorders to nervous system disorders, community members were most interested in learning more about ADHD (14.7%), Anxiety/Panic Disorder (9.2%), Depression (9.2%), and Women's Health/Reproductive health (9.2%). More so, 32 percent of participants asked to receive additional correspondence from CenExel iResearch Atlanta to become even more involved and better acquainted with the impactful work being done.

To top off the event, all those in attendance were entered into a raffle for a neck massager, with Emory School of Nursing (ESON) student, Tristan Smith, taking home the grand prize!

In addition to spreading love and invaluable information regarding mental health, the event also served to spotlight the work of one of our tenants, help inform the students of medical work taking place in the building, and helped connect the CenExel iResearch Atlanta team with an audience for future trials – a win-win for all!
